Sli.do is a very practical tool which enables us to create more interactive learning environments especially in crowded classrooms.

We can sign up with our google account to create an event and it will give us an event code to share with your students to join. The feature I often use is “live polls (open text)” where I pose a question (mostly for brainstorming purposes) for students to write an answer by using their cellphones (They enter the event code on slido home page.). However, you can try Audience Q&A, Live Polls with multiple questions, word cloud or rating.

Students feel very comfortable with this tool mainly because it allows them to share their opinions and answers anonymously. Seeing the answers immediately on the board, students avoid providing repetitive answers.
