Socrative

Socrative is a nice assessment tool that allows us to create simple quizzes in the forms of multiple choice, true/false and short answers.

Students simply type the code we share with them to access to the quiz. They write their names, answer the questions and get immediate feedback on their responses.

This tool helps us save time in many aspects. It instantly provides us with the chart summarizing student responses with their progress, which means that we don’t need to spend hours on assessing their quizzes. Furthermore, the immediate feedback gives us information about students’ understanding of the topic. Consequently, we can take necessary actions to improve our instruction to address students’ individual needs better.

I benefit from socrative for vocabulary teaching purposes, especially practicing word formation. I can confidently say that students find socrative quizzes very useful for their learning process. That’s why we should make socrative quizzes a part of our classroom routine.

We can also think about sharing our socrative quizzes with our colleagues through the link.
